Shala received her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with honors from Purdue University and her Masters degree in Economics from Purdue University. She also taught Principles Of Economics at Purdue as a TA.

Shala loves sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, bike riding, snow skiing, scuba diving and is striving to get good at golf!! She loves classical music and had the honor of serving on the Board of Directors of the Philharmonic Society of Orange County.

Shala has excellent exposure to other cultures and has lived and traveled extensively internationally.

Shala got involved in real estate at the age of ten, following her father, a developer, in construction sites. In her civil engineering career she also managed a construction company. Her knowledge of construction issues have proven to be a great asset to her clients. In addition to the residential real estate market, Shala has excellent knowledge of residential investment properties.

In addition to her experience in real estate, Shala has been President of an executive search firm, specializing in computer networking, and CEO of a data/tele communication company.
